ABOUT US Appoints Interim President & CEO

The Construction Management Association of America (mini传媒) announced this week that David Leckey has been appointed as Interim President & CEO. Leckey will succeed Andrea S. Rutledge, CAE, who announced her retirement earlier this year, on July 1.

Leckey joins mini传媒 after most recently serving as Interim President & CEO of the Center for Automotive Research. Across a 35-year career spanning nonprofit leadership, government service, and the private sector, he has led organizations through transition, growth, mergers, turnarounds, and executive change.

鈥淒avid brings deep experience in board governance, strategic planning, stakeholder and member relationship-building, financial and operational oversight, and guiding organizations through periods that require both continuity and thoughtful forward planning, he will bring steady leadership and judgment during this transition,鈥 noted mini传媒 Board of Directors Chair Carol Holland, CCM.

A graduate of the Interim Executives Academy, Leckey holds a Master of Arts in Public Affairs from the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs, a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Bowling Green State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Defiance College.

鈥淚 am honored to join mini传媒 during this transitional period for the organization. I look forward to working closely with the volunteer leaders and the staff to support continuity and maintain momentum on key priorities,鈥 noted Leckey. 鈥淢y priority is to help position mini传媒 for continued long-term success as the search for its next permanent CEO moves forward.鈥
